Abhimanyu beats Harikrishna

It was a tough day for the Indians. Adhiban started the day with two victories, but those are the only scoring games he had. Harikrishna scored only 1.0/5 and Humpy, despite getting winning positions against Aronian and Wenjun, she was unable to convert either of them. Her score remained unchanged from the previous day.

Round 11: Adhiban - Abhimanyu: 1-0

Adhiban had an absolutely wild game against the world's youngest grandmaster, Abhimanyu Mishra.

Position after 19...d4

No one would have been surprised if White continued 20.Qxb7 Nxb7 21.Bxd4 and so on. Surprisingly computer says that's the best continuation for White. However, Adhiban chose the humane 20.Ba4+ Nd7 21.Qh5+ and went on to win the game comfortably.
