FM Thibault Dudognon (FRA) and GM Jean-Marc Degraeve (FRA) scored an unbeaten 7.5/9 each at win 15th Vaujany International Chess Festival Main (>1800) 2024. Thibault won the tournament due to better tie-breaks. Jean-Marc was placed second. Dr. IM Anwesh Upadhyaya scored sole 7/9 to finish third. The total prize fund of Main tournament was €5400. The first prize was €1200. The nine-day nine round Rating tournament was organized by Jean-Pierre Lees at Espace Loisirs in Vaujany, France from 11th to 19th July 2024. Anwesh was the sole Indian to make a top ten finish.

A total of 68 players including 3 GMs, and 2 WGMs took part from 12 countries across the world in this nine-day nine round Main (>1800) tournament. It was organized by Jean-Pierre Lees at Espace Loisirs in Vaujany, France from 11th to 19th July 2024. The time control of the event was 40 moves in 90 minutes + 30 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move.
